Reflection

This project was something I really enjoyed doing and will never forget. It was the first time that I had the opportunity to talk to and get to know somebody from another country. Not only from another country, but another culture as well. It gave me the opportunity to learn about another culture through the eyes of somebody who is actually a part of that culture. And when you are able to do that, you get a much bigger and better view of what it is like. It helped me to open my eyes to what other places and cultures are like. Because up until now I have never had that opportunity. Another great aspect of this project was that you not only learned about a new lifestyle, but you also got to make a new friend. Talking with Ky over the past two months has been great because I learned a lot about her. I am very grateful for this project because I got to learn a great deal about something and someone that I would have never done without it.
